How are you everybody. I'm new here and I hope I become friends with all of you
Let's discuss the title now.
I don't think there's anybody who doesn't know yet of what the Denmark has done to Muslims under the excuse of freedom of expression. It was so provoking to hear that this country which - according to what I've heard - never offended Muslims and Islam doing it now!!!
I couldn't hide my feeling of anger when I saw the news. It's like somebody has ripped out my heart. How dare they draw Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) in such a way???
He wasn't a terrorist nor a killer!! He was the Prophet of Mercy sent from Allah Almighty to guide us to worship the one God which is Allah.
They could've at least drawn Osama Bin Laden if they think he's a terrorist, but not our beloved Prophet!!!
By drawing such ugly pictures, they have insulted the whole Islamic ummah and I am pretty sure that any Muslim in the world would give his/her life for the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
Those who say he's a terrorist and say Islam is a religion of terrorism have not read the full history of Islam. Read some quotes about the Prophet (Peace be upon him) from people who have read the whole story of Islam,
"Muhammed is the most successful of all Prophets and religious personalities." Encyclopedia Britannica
The founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire, that is Muhammed. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than
he?"Lamartine, Historie de la Turquie, Paris 1854, Vol. 11 pp. 276-277
"Muhammad was the soul of kindness, and his influence was felt and never forgotten by those around him." Diwan Chand Sharma, The Prophets of the East, Calcutta 1935, p. l 22.
It (Islam) replaced monkishness by manliness. It gives hope to the slave, brotherhood to mankind, and recognition of the fundamental facts of human nature."
Canon Taylor, Paper read before the Church Congress at Walverhamton, Oct. 7, 1887; Quoted by Arnoud in THE PREACHING OF ISLAM, pp. 71-72.
I am not a Muslim in the usual sense, though I hope I am a "Muslim" as "one surrendered to God," but I believe that embedded in the Quran and other expressions of the Islamic vision are vast stores of divine truth from which I and other occidentals have still much to learn, and 'Islam is certainly a strong contender for the supplying of the basic framework of the one religion of the future.'"
W. Montgomery Watt, ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY TODAY, London, 1983, p.ix.
"The doctrine of brotherhood of Islam extends to all human beings, no matter what color, race or creed. Islam is the only religion which has been able to realize this doctrine in practice. Muslims wherever on
the world they are will recognize each other as brothers."
R. L. Mellema, Holland, Anthropologist, Writer and Scholar
That's that and there's even plenty more!!
I'll include the Story of Islam and the Life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in my gallery for you to read
